: My tub is slow draining and I would like to remove the hair that I know has probably accumulated around the drain plug but I do not know how to remove that plug. I am not sure what I have but it is the kind of tub plug that you twist and it drops down to plug the tub and to drain it you lift and twist. I have twisted, twisted, and twisted but nothing seems to unscrew. How do I remove the darned thing. I tried drano hoping it would dissolve the hair but no such luck.
