|In response to Re: Air gap in new home taking up needed space!|
: We have just had our new house completed, and have a nice porcelan 4 hole sink with nice fixtures. The problem is, that the code required airgap/ overflow protector uses one of these holes that we would like to install an instant hot water dispenser into. What can we do to remove this air gap, without causing a potential risk?
Leave the air gap there, and replace the faucet with one that uses one hole, that will leave one hole for the instant hot, and one for the soap dispenser.
