Venting Basement Shower

Hi, I have a question about code requirements for venting a shower drain in my basement. Recently my home was inspected (a requirement of the city of Minneapolis prior to placing a home on the market), and the inspector told me that my basement shower stall is not vented properly. I currently have a laundry tub and a bathroom lavatory sink connected to separate 1 1/2" vent pipes, which come together at a tee connected to a 3" vent pipe that goes up through the roof. The shower trap is located about two feet from the 1 1/2" vent pipe for the laundry tub. So my question is: Can I legally vent the shower drain through the same 1 1/2" vent pipe used by the Laundry tub?
