shower bladder

we have a leak from the upstairs bath to the powder room below. the drywall man says that the bladder under the shower is leaking, it's not a pipe. he ran the water for 15 minutes and it wasn't leaking. if it is the bladder wouln't it still leak? the house is only 5 years old. if the tile has to be taken up, will he have to take off tile from the walls too? any information would be appreciated. thank you.
