: I have a single handle Price Pfister cartridge in my shower. I recently replaced it because the shower head was constantly dripping. I noticed that replaceable cartridge doesnt have a seat in the back of it, what could it be? I also returned the cartridge I put in to see if it was a faulty cartridge , but the one I returned it for also leaked out of the shower head. I am really frustrated, what do you think it could be?

It sounds like you need to replace the pressure balance cartridge in the faucet as well as the stem cartridge. Take a look at the parts breakdown and see if this helps.
