Our house was built in either 83 or 84 I think. We moved in in 95. On April 12th, 2001 a polybutelene pipe cracked in the attic while we were asleep and flooded the entire house with ankle deep water before we woke up. On June 1, (a few days after we moved back into the house from the 43 days of repair), another polybutelene pipe cracked. This one was under our concrete slab and cost $900 to repair (and of course it flooded about half the house. Today, I came home from work, fixed myself a snack, and went into the bedroom for about 15 minutes. When I came back out there was water pouring out from the ceiling again. Please help...what can I do about this...I was already having nightmares about floods before today |
