I will replace the wood flooring, (but not the finish material), when necessary. But since the finish material should be placed before the toilet is set, a carpenter/handyman often does it. My price is probably more than a handyman for the same work. : I recently had a plumber come in to look at several toilet leaks. He said the floors in 2 bathrooms had been damaged. He said he could replace them. My question is: is it common for plumbers to replace bathroom floors, including the sub-floor? Also, are plumber's prices for floor replacement comparable to other people that would replace floors? Your response is appreciated since this is all new to me. Thanks, Lucy
