If it is electric remove the lower door and see if the element is leaking. If it gas, then the heater probably needs replacing. . : Is there any way of knowing if I need to replace my water heater? : Right now it's leaking at the bottom quite badly (I'm not sure why) but it was working fine this morning. I don't have any hot water right now and I've just shut off the water to the hot water tank. : Any suggestions? : Wilson
