Never mind, called the gas company, apparently the earthquake valve had tripped... All other appliances were just leaking the final pressure out when tested before. : We have a 6 year old Bradford White, 40 gal. gas water heater. I awoke this morning to a cold shower, and proceeded to investigate the heater. I found that the pilot was out and proceeded to re-light it. It stays lit, but when I turn the temp up, and whoosh the burner ignites, it also blows the pilot out, and gas is subsequently shot off. This happens repeatably. Should I replace the thermo?
