If it is leaded in place, remove the drain cover and drill out the lead being careful not to harm the pipe. After this is done it should lift. You can also cut circular section out of the pan
to reduce the size of the pan for removal.
: I am doing my second bathroom remodel. I have taken the old tile and sheetrock out and I am down to 2X4s. My problem is how do I take out the 30 yr. old shower pan. I pulled all the holding nails and can pry up the edges; it still seems attached at the drain, how do I deal with that?
