|In response to Re: Adding a basement toilet|
It depends on how much "just above the basement floor" If it is about 3 1/2" to 4 1/2" to the center of the pipe you may be able to connect a floor mount rear outlet toilet. If it is any higher, then you may be able to use a wall hund toilet into a horizontal carrier. This would be a fairly expensive setup, but still cheaper than an ejector pump. You would be able to also have a wash basin, but not a shower or tub.
: If I was to add a basement toilet how far does the toilet need to be from the stack and how high above the sewer pipe out of the house does the toilet need to be. I have a sewer pipe exiting the house just above the basement floor. Could I use a rear exit toilet for the basement?
