If you have cut a hole in the ceiling, you or a plumber should be able to see where the leak is. Once you know that then we can decide if the repair is easy or hard. And that will determine how much it will cost to fix it.

: I have a 2 story townhouse, and I found a ceiling water leak on my first floor.
: My bathroom is located directy above.
: Apparently my bathtub fixtures were not sealed and
: I just sealed it.
: The problem is that it is still leaking. The leak is very slow.
: I cut out a piece of the ceiling to see if it would continue leaking.I noticed that part of the pipe has mildew.I believe that it is a leak in the pipes in the bathroom sink.
: I have stopped using that bathroom(except for the toilet)
: Is this a very expensive repair?
: What should I expect or do?

: Thank You
