There are a number of reasons why drains are not centered, but the number one reason is framing. Possibly a joist is in the way. My shower is off center, we have a fiberglass pan and mud floor. It works just fine. : We are building a house and the builder did not put the shower drain in the right location. It is 6 inches off center. We are at the tiling stage. Can anyone suggest a remedy? Can the drain be moved? Builder is just evasive. Any advice would be appreciated. Joe
