: The float valve on the toilet begins to leak as soon as the automatic lawn sprinkler system starts up. Why would this be happening? Should I replace the float valve?

I think if you replace the seal in the ballcock that should solve the problem. If you can not find the kohler seal use a fluidmaster #242 seal. If you need more info feel free to give me a call.
