: I am looking to install a new hot water heater powered by natural gas -- however due to the location of where I would like to install this unit I would like to find a ventless water heater, do you have any recommendations, or dealers you know of that I can reasearch for this type of unit? I don't think they make one and i wouldn't install one if they did. any gas flame uses up oxygen and produces co2 and a little co. even so called ventless gas logs are not ventless, you have to open a window (in effect a "vent" ) while using it unless your house is built like swiss cheese. Your choices are put in an electric heater or install a vent.
