The majority of disposers are connected with one trap. In fact, unless the in wall piping is plumbed for two traps it can be illegal to install two traps. You have a stopped up drain and it would happen even if you did have two traps.
: Is it necessary to have two p-traps for a garbage disposal installed under a double sink? After installation with only one trap on the non-disposal side of sink, my drains are backing up on me. The instruction that come with the unit says to use two but the guy who installed it didn't read them and now will not admit that maybe he screwed up. Did he?
