: After reading the report on low-flow toilets, thought I'd add my 2 cents. The new toilet designs must be designed by men who never had to clean a bathroom! I recently shopped for a new toilet and could find only one that did not have the serpentine shape of the traps under the toilet bowl. It's bad enough to clean a toilet that has a straight, smooth surface under the bowl and tank, but one that looks like a snake and has all sorts of dirt-catching crevices?
: I settled for the cheapest one carried by Home Depot -- the Lamosa. It is a water-saver (and hallelujah it turned out to flush great) and it has a smooth, straight, cleaning-friendly shape!
: Toilet designers: take on the job of cleaning your bathrooms and suffer like those of us who have to clean our own bathrooms! Then maybe you'll design something right!

The cost-saving designs of exposing the trapway seem to be with us now. There are some models with concealed trapways though.
I'm glad you like the Lamosa, I remove quite a few of them for people. Terry
