The question was, what is your opinion of the best brand? Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned any brand names. We have very hard water. Would like at least a 6 year warranty. There is no connection between the water softener and water heater so the brand of each is immaterial. : : Can anyone give me an opinion on the best brand of gas water heater. Is there any great difference between a GE/Richmond/AO Smith? Also, is it best to pair a same brand water softner as the heater (not that I even know yet if the manufacturers make softners, as well.) : : Any detailed answer would be greatly appreciated!
