Sewer Drain line

I have a small sink hole over my drain line to the street. My tub drains slow and when my washer drains it backs up into the tub and and has caused toilet overflow (at the base-wax ring went bad). Could there be a small hole in the drain line and soil has fell in and is partially clogged? Can I reapir the hole myself and how? I don't have the funds to have a plumber repair this and it has become a serious problem. thanks for any help you can offer
