The rubber gasket goes under the shower unit, then the fiber gasket and finally the lock nut. You put putty or silicone beween the drain flange and the top of the shower unit. : I'm replacing a new drain and my question is this: : Does the fiber gasket go under the rubber gasket between the trap and shower. I have the drain installed : but it is still leaking. I don't know if the nut isn't tight enough or if the gaskets are not placed correctly?
