: I have been researching Toto toilets and have noticed they have power gravity and G-max systems available. The Toto Drake toilet I am interested in, has the G-max system.

It seems quieter. The noise curve builds whereas the noise curve for the pressure assist starts at the top and then goes down.

: 3. How does a G-max flush system work?

They work it mainly with a large siphon jet. Most of the water flows through it and through the trapway. The flush valve is 3" instead of the industry standard 2". This allows much more water to flow through.

: 4. Would you anticipate much maintenance with the G-max system as it ages?

No.
