If I missed this answer somewhere in the FAQ, I apologise in advance. I have an old clawfoot porcelin tub, dating back to the 20s. The inside is in above average condition, but the outside paint is peeling and flaking and I think it needs new fixtures. I've called a couple refinishers, who told me it would probably be worth it to do it myself. The question is...does anyone know of a guide or book or something I can buy that will walk me through the process of cleaning and repainting it - as well as removing and replacing the fixtures? Thanks in advance, Mike |
