In response to Re: Retrofitting Gerber 1.6 gpf with a pressure system
: : I have hated my toilets since I moved into my newly constructed house last September. Last week I had the occasion to lift the lid on a toilet at the Sharks Club in Kirkland (to hook up the handle) and I saw the pressure canister in the tank. What an awesome idea!!! Is there a retrofit option for toilets with the standard gravity flush or am I faced with having to replace all three toilets in my house?

: JoJo,
: Who was playing? The last time I went there the Beatniks were playing.

: You can't retrofit a pressure tank to a gravity bowl. I saw someone do that in a restaurant in Redmond, what a joke. The pressure tanks put out 1.5 gallons under pressure. The bowl was an old 5 gallon. Not enough to do the job.
: It is always better to install complete units, they come matched and designed to work together. Terry

Thanks for the information, Terry. I thought that might be the case, but I was hoping otherwise. Re: Sharks Club...I haven't made it there on a live-band night, usually just go for beer and the now free pool mid-week. Thanks again for the tip...
