Buy a new cap and then use a torch to heat the old one. Heat it a little bit and then try to unscrew it. Repeat until it reaches the proper temperature and then it will unscrew without using any force. : This model, with a clear knob, early 80s, has no visible set screw. I have removed the knob, but cannot budge the cap; does this require a special tool?
