|In response to Re: Toilets for Basement Installation|
There are several possibilities depending on how
elegant you want the final solution to be. There is a toilet that is mounted on its own pump box and sits on the floor or it can be recessed into the floor. The lavatory and tub/shower connect into it. Or you can install a separate basin and pipe the fixtures to it and then install the pump in it.
I would like to put a 1/2 bath in my basement. It has a concrete foundation and floor. The biggest problem is that the basement was put in after the house was built, so the sewer line is about three feet above the floor. I'm told there are toilets that have a sump hole and pump to solve a problem like this. Where would I look for one?
