A toilet does not know or care where it is being installed. If the piping is done correctly there will be no problem. In fact, there are some occasions when a wall hung toilet is the only one that can be installed in a basement. : We are finishing the basement of our 14-year-old home. Will we get proper flushing if we install a wall-mounted toilet in a basement bathroom? We've been told that wall-mounts won't work in basements.
