Don't expect a lot in the way of power or capacity. You just can't generate much horsepower with household water pressure and quantity.

I'd be surprised if these worked at all. I have not tried one and have not even taken a close look at them.

: I can't remember where, but I remember reading once about a non-electric powered in-sink disposal unit. It was powered somehow by water pressure. It may have been in the 'This Old House' magazine.

: Anyone else ever seen one of these? I'm interested in installing a disposal unit in my kitchen, and would like to avoid the electrical work if possible.
