: What constitutes a "daytime emergency"? If it is before 8:00 a.m. or after 4:30 p.m. it would be overtime. Otherwise it should just be the regular rate times the amount of time used.

most plumbers have gone to a flat rate pricing schedule and do not charge by the hour. this rate can be based on a number of factors (overhead etc.) the days of 50 dollars an hour are gone.
