You do not need a restrictor, the heater will already have that to control the amount of water going through the heater. You need a 3/4 X 1/2 reducer coupling or bushing. But do not expect any great things through that 1/2" piping. : bought a SUPER SUPREME S220 W.H. , WIFE WOULD LIKE HOT TUB OF WATER TO SOAK IN, LUKE AT BEST. SHOWER IS BOILING. TUBS NOT . W.H. HAS 1/2 INCH INLET&OUTLET . PIPING THRUOUT HOME IS 3/4 INCH. WHERE CAN I GET A FLOW RESTRICTOR FOR 1/2 INCH COPPER PIPE? DO THEY COME IN DIFFERENT FLOW SIZINGS? OR SHOULD RESTRICTOR BE PLACED ONLY AT TUB.?
