|In response to Re: Water Heater|
: The only sign that a heater needs replacing is leakage. Everything else such as popping, gurling, etc. are signs of inefficiency but not necessarily replacement until they become intolerable.
In an electric heater, couldn't these noises be signs of a burned out lower element or defective thermostat?
Good health, Weogo
: : What are other possible signs besides leakage of water on a water heater that needs replacing??
: : Particularly on a older water heater that continues making gurgling sounds.
