The overflow plate's spring or pivot area is worn out. Replace the overflow plate and handle. : I've taken the overflow cover off, pulled out the linkage, and everthing seems to be there. : It just won't stay down when I reassemble it. Is there a piece broken off, or something that's supposed to keep : it open? Everytime I push it down into the open position it just slides right back up to the closed position. : Any ideas?
