Howdy,
I'm trying to remove the above-mentioned shower valve and
it's being a real PITA. The house was built in 1957 and I
suspect the valve was made about the same time. Presently I'm having
a leak that I originally suspected was the shower pan but now I'm
trying to see if it's the valve leaking in the wall. I purchased a handle
puller and it's really starting to strain to get the handle to budge. It hasn't as of yet.
Any ideas? It's a single handle valve with a chrome "star" style handle that controls the flow.
There is a single separate handle that's under the "star" which controls temp. Thanks.
