The previous owner of my house had new drains put around the perimiter of the basement walls along with a sump pump, but plugged the old floor drain near the set tubs and put a 4 foot stand pipe with a plug on top in the floor drain near the front of the house. Can the old floor drain be unplugged in case of a washer overflow and can the stand pipe be cut any shorter or removed ? |
