: When is it better to use 5/8 sheet rock than : 1/2 sheet rock? You see, someone I know suggested I : use 5/8 inch sheet rock for the ceiling and 1/2 inch : sheet rock for the walls, however, another pointed out : that it would be better to have 1/2 sheet rock all
