It is a common situation, not just with septic tanks. You need to install a sewage ejector pump and basin and pipe the toilet, lavatory, and tub/shower into it. Its discharge would then be connected to your main drain. : We live in the country and have no main grainage, nor city water but are on a Septic and Well system. : We wish to install/build a toilet and a shower unit in our basement (for my elderly father). To get the effluents to the Septic tank, we would have to "push" the toilet effluents "up-hill" as it were. The shower would also require some sort of "pumping". : Any suggestions as to how we could accomplish the above? : Thank you very Much for your consideration. : Roscoe : Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
