|In response to Re: old toilet fixtures|
The flange is an add-on piece to the plumbing system. It can be removed and a new one leaded on, usually very easily, unless they poured the concrete around it instead of leaving a gap for it to fit into.
: : The old cast-iron drain on our toilet has rusted through and broken, making it impossible to bolt down the new toilet. Is there any way to secure the toilet without busting up our tiled, cement-slab floor and replacing the drain system?
