The 6" was a little small for the original setup, but you need a 7" pipe for either of your two options. : I have vent pipes 2x4' from two furnaces and 3' from : 50 gal waterheater. All of them goes into 6' main vent. : That how it was made 20 years ago. : Now I am Going to change 50 gal to 75 gal or just add : one more 50 gal, and I have to change Water heater vent from 3' to 4' for 75 gal (will be 4'+4'+4'=>6') or add one more 3' vent pipe (will be 4'+4'+3'+3'=>6') : My question is about main vent line, - is 6' enough : for both caces or not? Was it deigned correct from the beginning?
