|In response to Re: Leveling a Kohler/Sterling Tub/Shower Unit|
: My sub floor is new but due to house settling I am not level when I set in the tub which is part of a four piece remodel unit made by Kohler. The bottom of the unit has a series of eight feet that must all touch a level and sound surface before flanges are nailed. Is there any material that could be applied to this area that the feet touch which is 1' X 2.2' that could level from 0 to 3/8". A thin concrete bet would crack when the 1" diameter feet and 55 gallons water and one person use the tub. Morter is out also?
If you do mortar up to the level of the tub, it should work fine. The tub is higher than the legs. Terry
