: : : I am having trouble finding a bath room exhaust fan.My home was built in the 50's.The original exhaust fan was vented thru the wall via a 6 1/4" diameter hole.: Exhausted in Pewaukee

: : HI TIM
: : YOU CAN GET A FITTING MADE FROM SMOKE PIPE THAT WILL REDUCE THE PIPE SIZE DOWN TO 3 OR 4 " WHAT EVER SIZE FAN EXHAUST YOU BY YOU NEED EITHER A 6X3,4 REDUCER OR A 5X3,4 REDUCER YOU CAN GET THESE AT ANY PLACE THAT SELLS AIR CONDITIONING PRODUCTS OR HOME DEPOT ETC...
: : MEASURE THE INSIDE DIAMETER OF THE HOOD THAT SHOULD TELL YOU IF ITS 5" OR 6" YOU ALSO WANT TO TRY TO GET THE MALE END OF THE REDUCER OR INCREASER TO GO INTO THE HOOD
: : GOOD LUCK

: You need to get a hold of someone who has a granger catolog. I'll bet you find it there. Dale's Plumbing Service Inc

:Thanks for all the help fellas.I found what I was looking for.Broan makes what they call a utility ventilator. The model 512m will work out beautifully. Now all I have to do is locate a vendor here in Pewaukee,Wi.Hopefully I can get one quickly. Will be moving to Indianapolis and there is a million other things to do to get our house up on the market. Thanks again!!
