I am on a well system and am experiencing "water hammer" and almost constant "clicking"of the gauge on/at the holding tank. I believe the system is "water logged", i.e., the holding tank needs air. Am I correct that I need to shut off the main water valve leeding into the tank ... open all faucets ... pump air into the holding tank (how much ???) ... then turn the main valve back on and, shut off all faucets. Appreciate any advice you could offer. Ron S. |
