the fiberglass pan on my 6 year old shower developed a crack. the pan always seemed to have some "give" to it. I suspect it wasn't installed properly. If I want to stabilize the old pan before repairing the crack or to install a replacement pan and eliminate the chances of it "giving" can you suggest a material to either pump in or place under the pan. a contractor suggested gypsum cement but i'm not sure it will take the weight of a person steping on the pan. any suggestions will be appreciated. al |
