As long as it is a functioning GFCI, then the disance is immaterial. The Electric code will determine the minimum distance before a GFCI is required. : Does the UPC address the appropriate distance between a hose bibb and a GFCI exterior receptacle. I've got to install a new hose bibb and it looks like the only place it can go is about 2'-3' from an existing GFCI outlet. Help!! Thanks. Louie
