We are moving to a new house with a well. The water tests came back with 7 gpg hardness, .5 ppm iron, and pH of 6.5. My question is whether an acid neutralizer is really necessary. Assuming a softener will take care of the iron and hardness, do we need a neutralizer since it appears the pH is right on the edge of the recommended range? Thanks for any suggestions. |
