If the water line is brass, why are you replacing it, unless you need to increase its size. It is unlikely that it has deteriorated. : I'm planning on replacing my 70 year old brass 3/4" water line from the house to the curb box at the street. : The water company tells me their pipe from the shut off to the main is lead.
