Tankless Water Heater

We have a new house with a 50 gal natural gas water heater. We run out of hot water when filling a large(100 Gal) whirlpool tub. It would be difficult to add an additional gas hot water heater because the class B chimney is too small. Do you think an inline(tankless) electric hot water heater would be a good solution. The unit could be mounted in the basement directly below the tub so there should not be any problem get wires to the unit. Can you recommend a manufacturer? Thanks, Randy
