adding second 3-4" stack

I am adding a second bathroom to, yes, a (gulp) one bathroom house.
The new stack is approximately 17 feet from the existing stack.

My question is:
Is it possible to run the new stack vertically from the second floor
through the first and into the crawl space,
AND THEN LATERALLY over this distance?

And if so, should I use a 1/4" per foot, 1/8" per foot, or GREATER slope
to ensure proper drainage?

I have 2 feet of vertical space (across the lateral 17 feet) to work with.

Did I mention I have to cut an iron stack in a 3 foot high crawl space :)
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
