IF they will work manually, then the pumps are not the problem. You need to check the control box and floats to see if they are functioning properly and if they were even installed correctly.
: I moved into a building which has a pump and a secondary back up. Despite a manual flush the day before, the high water alarm sounded and water was discharged. Where do I begin in terms of trouble shooting and solving this problem. These pumps were installed during a renovation 11 years ago and are referred to as, "tempermental".
