|In response to Re: Custom Sink dilemna|
: My question is elaborated with pictures at
: my home page.
: Click on "THE SINK DILEMNA"
: I bought a Mexican hand-painted sink and the drain hole is approx. 2 1/4" in diameter. This is too large for most standard pop-up systems and drain fittings.
: Is there any possibilty that someone on the planet makes a pop up drain setup where the ring that overlaps the bottom of sink happens to be wider than 2" in diamter?
Olun, From the picture the 3 overflow holes should be in the front of the lav instad of the back under the faucet. But that is no problem, from the picture the top part of the pop-up looks fine it's the depth that concerns me. If you can go to your local plumbing supply house ask them for different pictures of dimensions for different lavs, american standard,Crane,Kohler, Eljer, Moen,Ghroe Price Phister etc and one may have what you need. Sorry I couldn't be of more help at this time. Dale's Plumbing Service LMP
