: I have a smelly drain in the kitchen which I think is the result of a blocked plumbing vent. How do you clean out these vents? Charles, If you have a one story house and it is not to difficult to get a hose into the vent, then flush it out from there. Also clean your garbage disposal with a little clorex and detergent.
