In response to Re: UNKNOWN NOISES
: THIS MAY NOT BE A PLUMBING PROBLEM BUT AM STUMPED. WE
: OCCUPY A 20 YR. OLD RAISED RANCH. WITHIN THE LAST
: 6 MONTHS WE HAVE HAD UNEXPLAINED NOISES ONLY AT NIGHT.
: THE NOISES ARE A LOUD THUMP (LIKE A BASKETBALL BEING
: THROWN AGAINST SIDING, OR AN OUTSIDE DOOR BEING
: SLAMMED SHUT.) THIS ONLY HAPPENS AT NIGHT AND ONLY
: MAYBE 2-3 TIMES A WEEK. THESE NOISES ARE LOUD ENOUGH
: TO WAKE EVERYONE IN THE HOUSE. IT IS CONFINED TO ONE WALL ALONG THE EAST SIDE OF THE HOUSE. I DON'T BELIEVE THERE ARE ANY PIPES INSIDE THAT WALL, AND DONT THINK A PIPE CAN MAKE SUCH A LOUD NOISE. THERE IS
: NO EXPLANATION THAT I CAN THINK OF! WOULD YOU
: SUGGEST A CARPENTER, PLUMBER, HOME INSPECTOR?? THX. BOB

Bob, Trim the tree next to the house. This is his daughter Amanda and if there is no trees against the house or around that particular wall I sugest you get a movie producer cuz you might be the next movie millionair. LOL
Also look for lose TV wires, cable wires, etc cuz in the wind they can slap against the house and make that noise. Or it could be Casper The Friendly Ghost.LOL
